Challenge

We worked directly inside the organization's CRM and launched a targeted corporate fundraising campaign using cold calling as the primary channel.

The campaign started with one fundraising agent. As momentum increased and additional outreach capacity became necessary, we recruited, trained, and onboarded two additional agents.

Our Approach

An autism support organization needed to raise funding for a summer camp serving 110 autistic children. The goal was ambitious: secure €70,000 within 89 days to ensure the camp could take place as planned. The organization had an existing CRM and a database of potential corporate donors, but limited internal capacity to conduct large-scale outreach.

What we did

* Conducted outbound calls to local businesses

* Managed donor conversations and follow-ups

* Updated all interactions directly in the client's CRM

* Coordinated outreach efforts across multiple agents

* Maintained consistent reporting throughout the campaign

Most calls were made to general company phone numbers, requiring us to navigate receptionists and gatekeepers before reaching decision-makers.

Results

Within 89 days we achieved:

* €70,890 raised

* 161 companies contributed

* Average donation: €440.30

* Campaign goal exceeded

The organization successfully secured the funding needed to operate the summer camp for 110 autistic children.

Key Learnings

This campaign reinforced the importance of flexibility and speed. As donor interest increased, we had to quickly expand the team and maintain quality while scaling outreach efforts.

The biggest challenge was reaching decision-makers through gatekeepers, as most initial contacts came through general company phone lines. Developing effective gatekeeper navigation strategies became a critical factor in the campaign's success.
